GMDA Plans Three Elevated Roads in Old Gurugram to Ease Traffic Congestion

The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) plans to construct three elevated roads in Old Gurugram to alleviate traffic congestion. The projects include a 7.4 km flyover from Rajiv Chowk to Atul Kataria Chowk (approx. ₹750 crore), a 5 km road from Atul Kataria Chowk to Dundahera (approx. ₹650 crore), and a 1.4 km stretch from Maharana Pratap Chowk to Iffco Chowk (approx. ₹140 crore). A consultant will be hired next month to oversee these phased construction efforts.
