Punjab CM to Seek Holy City Status for Nanded Sahib from Maharashtra Government

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced plans to request the Maharashtra government to grant holy city status to Nanded Sahib, highlighting its spiritual significance as the place where Guru Gobind Singh spent much of his life. Mann emphasized his government's commitment to Sikh heritage, recalling existing holy city designations in Punjab. He also pledged to upgrade the Punjab Bhawan in Nanded with modern facilities and improve Verka milk supply to support pilgrims visiting the sacred site.
