Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed government departments to accelerate budget expenditure for the financial year 2025-26. Following presentations from 20 major departments on their progress, Adityanath emphasized timely utilization of allocated funds to ensure projects and schemes benefit the public. He stressed fixing responsibility and accountability at all levels, urging swift decision-making to overcome delays and improve budget utilization, particularly in departments with slow progress. The Finance Department was also instructed to release pending funds and departments to actively pursue central government allocations.
