Ahead of the 2025-26 BMC elections, Mumbai's civic body will train 50,000 employees for election duty. The training, starting December 29 and concluding January 9, will cover polling officers and other staff across seven locations. Voting for all 227 BMC seats is scheduled for January 15, 2026, with vote counting on January 16. Nomination papers are being submitted until December 30.
