Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor is set to assume the role of Vice Chief of Air Staff on January 1. Currently serving as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the South Western Air Command, Kapoor is an accomplished fighter pilot with over 3400 flying hours. His career includes significant operational commands and staff appointments, including a diplomatic assignment as Defence Attache in Pakistan.
