Mumbai Metro Line 9 to Connect Dahisar and Mira Bhayandar Starting Next Month

Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik announced that Mumbai Metro Line 9, connecting Dahisar to Mira Bhayandar, will become operational next month after local body elections on February 5. The metro aims to ease traffic congestion and improve public transport in the rapidly growing region. Additionally, major roads in Mira Bhayandar will be concreted over the next 1.5 to 2 years, and the city will begin receiving water from the Surya Dam to address long-standing supply issues. Sarnaik also commented on recent civic election results and regional identity concerns.
