Security forces in Manipur's Imphal East district neutralized 27 country-made bombs recovered near Monglham village on Thursday. In a separate operation on Wednesday, three arms and ammunition were seized from Langdum Nungjengbi. These actions are part of ongoing security operations amidst the ethnic violence that has persisted since May 2023, resulting in over 260 deaths and thousands displaced. The state assembly is currently under suspended animation.
