The party hailed the stay on the Delhi High Court's suspension of the Unnao rape convict's acquittal, with Mahila Congress leader Alka Lamba calling it a victory for justice and alleging a weak CBI case. Congress spokesman Jairam Ramesh also welcomed the stay on the Supreme Court's earlier order defining Aravalli hills' height, demanding the Environment Minister's resignation.
