Chandigarh Plans Regional Driving Training Centre at Raipur Kalan with Licence Test Exemption

The UT Transport Department is establishing a Regional Driving Training Centre at Raipur Kalan with support from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. The centre will train driving instructors, offer refresher courses, assess learner drivers using modern testing systems, and conduct road safety awareness programs. After completing a 29-hour, month-long training course, candidates may be exempted from the conventional driving licence test. Expressions of Interest for managing the centre are invited until February 27.
