Rajya Sabha Cancels March 19-20 Sittings, Reschedules to March 28-29 Weekend

The Rajya Sabha will not hold sittings on March 19-20, 2026, due to several festivals including Navaratri, Gudipadwa, and Ramadan, following a request by some members. To compensate for the lost time, the House will convene on the weekend of March 28-29, 2026. This decision was communicated by Chairman C P Radhakrishnan after the Business Advisory Committee meeting on March 11.
