The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has approached the Supreme Court alleging interference by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and state officials during its raids on I-PAC premises in a coal scam probe. The ED claims evidence was forcibly removed, compromising the investigation. In response, the West Bengal government filed a caveat in the Supreme Court to ensure it is heard. Meanwhile, Kolkata Police have begun a probe, identifying ED officials based on complaints filed by Banerjee, who accused them of theft and intimidation.
