GMDA to Develop Multi-Modal Transport Corridor at Pachgaon Chowk in Gurugram

The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) will develop a multi-modal transport corridor at Pachgaon Chowk on the Delhi-Jaipur highway to integrate the NCRTC's Regional Rapid Transport System, the proposed Pachgaon metro rail, and the Haryana Orbital Rail. Union Secretary V Umashankar directed GMDA to plan the corridor to manage expected increases in commuter and vehicular traffic. A consultant will prepare the construction plan, while discussions continue on relocating the Kherki Daula toll plaza amid local demands for a flyover.
