AIADMK Files Contempt Petition Against DVAC Over Unregistered FIR in Tamil Nadu Job Scam

AIADMK Rajya Sabha MP I.S. Inbadurai filed a contempt petition against the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) for not registering an FIR in the alleged cash-for-jobs scam involving Tamil Nadu Minister K.N. Nehru's department. The Madras High Court had ordered the FIR registration on February 20, 2026, based on Enforcement Directorate findings of bribery and hawala transactions linked to recruitment. The DVAC has yet to comply or challenge the order, prompting legal action for non-compliance.
