YSRCP leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy accused the TDP-led Andhra Pradesh government of a breakdown in public health administration following repeated diarrhoea and food poisoning outbreaks. He cited 25 food poisoning cases affecting over 900 students in 15 districts over 14 months, highlighting incidents like the Kurupam Tribal Welfare girls school where students fell ill and previous deaths occurred. Jagan attributed these outbreaks to negligence and weak supervision, while the TDP has not responded to the allegations.
