Iran reportedly launched its advanced Sejjil ballistic missile, also known as Ashoura, targeting Israeli and US-linked positions for the first time since the conflict began on February 28. The two-stage, solid-fuel missile has an estimated range of about 2,000 kilometers and a payload capacity near 700 kilograms. Known for its high-altitude maneuvering to evade missile defenses, the Sejjil was developed indigenously with initial tests dating back to 2008. This deployment marks its first known combat use amid ongoing hostilities.
