The CCS discussed the safety of nearly 10 million Indians in the region, challenges faced by stranded travelers amid airspace closures, and potential impacts on India's energy security due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. The committee urged early cessation of hostilities and emphasized diplomatic efforts.
