Haryana Launches WhatsApp Chatbot 'Bhu-Mitra' for Land and Revenue Services

The Haryana Revenue and Disaster Management Department has launched 'Bhu-Mitra,' a WhatsApp chatbot offering 24/7 access to land and revenue services in Hindi and English. The chatbot enables citizens to obtain copies of jamabandi and mutation records, register compensation and deeds, generate deed tokens, request land demarcation, and track complaints in real time. Financial Commissioner Dr. Sumita Misra highlighted that Bhu-Mitra aims to reduce bureaucratic delays and physical visits by providing convenient, transparent service access via a familiar platform.
