
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated two major drinking water projects in Tamil Nadu via videoconferencing. The Kollidam-Chidambaram Combined Water Supply Scheme, costing ₹255.64 crore, will benefit over 1.27 lakh residents across multiple municipalities and rural areas. Separately, a ₹605 crore project in Tirunelveli district aims to supply water to over 3 lakh people in 831 habitations, primarily in the Radhapuram Assembly constituency. Additional infrastructure upgrades and sports facility developments were also initiated.
