Kerala Minister Orders Probe into Post-Pongala Cleaning Delays in Thiruvananthapuram

Following the Attukal Pongala festival in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala General Education Minister V. Sivankutty has directed the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) to investigate alleged delays and lapses in post-festival cleaning by the city Corporation. While officials, including the Mayor, stated that cleaning was completed by Tuesday night, media reports and observations noted garbage accumulation in some areas, partly due to a dispute over responsibility near the Attukal temple. The government emphasized prompt resolution to maintain hygiene and traffic flow.
