Large Hindu Virat Sammelan Procession Held in Bagalkote with Tight Security

On March 1, a large procession was held in Bagalkote as part of the Hindu Virat Sammelan and Virat Hindu Samavesha, marking the RSS centenary celebrations. Over 5,000 participants, including activists, folk artists, and political leaders, marched with tableaux, ceremonial pots, and slogans like Jai Sri Ram and Jai Shivaji. The procession passed near the Panka Masjid, where police implemented strict security measures, including barriers and increased surveillance, to prevent incidents following recent communal clashes. No untoward events were reported during the rally.
