Shiv Sena MP Bhumre Denies Land Gift Allegations, Plans Defamation Suit

Shiv Sena MP Sandipan Bhumre has denied allegations by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Ambadas Danve that a 23-acre land in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar was gifted to Bhumre's driver, Javed Shaikh. Danve claimed the land, valued at nearly Rs 1,150 crore, was transferred before Shaikh's birth. Bhumre questioned the validity of the gift deed ('hibanama') and the land survey number cited, calling for a detailed probe and announcing plans to file a defamation suit against Danve if the allegations prove false.
