
An Israeli Black Hawk helicopter crashed near residential areas in Gush Etzion, West Bank, after its towing harness detached during a recovery operation on Friday. The helicopter had made an emergency landing earlier due to adverse weather. The Israel Defense Forces confirmed no injuries and said the incident raised safety concerns. Israeli Air Force Commander Maj.-Gen. Tomer Bar ordered a military investigation into the harness failure and crash circumstances.
