Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers protested across West Bengal, demanding Booth Level Agents (BLAs) be present at hearing centers, leading to halted proceedings in some areas. A TMC delegation met the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) to discuss concerns, including the insistence on Form 6 and the denial of BLA-2 presence. The CEO reportedly assured action and communication with Delhi regarding discrepancies, while also stating that individuals from the 2002 list did not require re-hearing. TMC leaders asserted the democratic right for BLAs to attend hearings.
