The Assembly questioned the Punjab Police's forensic examination and FIR registration without its consent, citing jurisdictional concerns. The matter, linked to alleged derogatory remarks against Sikh Gurus, is under the Assembly's Committee of Privileges. Punjab Police had initially sought 10 days to reply but were limited to three days to submit their report by January 15.
