The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Pune has postponed the release of its first candidate list for the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) elections to finalize seat-sharing talks with ally Shiv Sena. The list, expected to contain 50-60 names, was delayed to address internal consensus issues and potential candidate defections. The party is currently interviewing numerous applicants, with discussions between BJP and Shiv Sena leaders ongoing to reach a final agreement before nominations close.
