Jharkhand CM Advances Plans to Expand CM Schools and Establish Shibu Soren Residential School
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed officials to expedite plans to increase CM Schools of Excellence from 80 to 5,000, aiming to provide quality education across all panchayats. He emphasized reducing dropout rates, especially among girls, increasing teachers, and improving facilities. The state is also establishing the Dishom Guru Shibu Soren Residential School for children of martyred police personnel, with a detailed project report due within a week. Additionally, 26 Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential Schools offer free education and boarding to underprivileged children.
