The Haryana Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, approved a government job for Santosh Kumari, wife of late ASI Sandeep Kumar Lathar, who died by suicide. She will be appointed as PGT Mathematics at Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. Lathar's suicide note accused late IPS officer Y Puran Kumar of corruption, who also died by suicide earlier. The Cabinet also extended Old Pension Scheme benefits to 347 state transport drivers appointed in 2002, resolving pay anomalies.
