Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) president K. Selvaperunthagai has filed a complaint with the AICC president against Congress functionary Praveen Chakravarty's remarks on Tamil Nadu's debt levels. Selvaperunthagai called Chakravarty's claims 'unacceptable' and aimed at creating confusion within the INDIA bloc, stating they do not reflect the official TNCC stance. He asserted that the DMK government has managed the state's finances effectively, disputing Chakravarty's assertion that Tamil Nadu has the highest outstanding debt among all states.
