The Himachal Pradesh BJP Mahila Morcha has accused the Congress-led state government of failing to fulfill its promise to provide Rs 1,500 monthly to every woman. BJP Mahila Morcha chairperson DJ Thakur stated that the government has not delivered on this pre-poll guarantee even after three years, resulting in a debt of Rs 54,000 per eligible woman. An introductory meeting of the district unit was also held.
