The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has warned civic agencies against unauthorized road cutting, threatening penalties and criminal cases for violations. Chief Commissioner M. Maheshwar Rao emphasized the need to obtain permission via the 'Marks' software and urged prompt scrutiny of applications. Departments must submit advance lists of proposed works and map them on Google Maps. Rao also called for timely completion of last-mile connectivity projects and directed the procurement of water jetting machines for footpath cleaning.
