
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced a relief package for farmers cultivating urad, mustard, chana, masoor, and tur. The government will provide a Rs 600 per quintal bonus on urad and extend the Bhavantar scheme to mustard farmers to compensate for price differences. Proposals for MSP procurement of chana, masoor, and tur have been sent to the Centre. The government aims to support farmers' income, promote crop diversity, and strengthen the rural economy amid rising mustard cultivation and production.
