Azerbaijan Foils Alleged Iranian Plots Targeting Pipeline and Diplomatic Sites

Azerbaijan announced it thwarted multiple sabotage plots linked to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targeting the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, the Israeli embassy, an Ashkenazi synagogue, and a leader of the Mountain Jews community. The BTC pipeline supplies oil to Europe and Israel. This follows Azerbaijan's claim of Iranian drone incursions into its Nakhchivan exclave, which Iran denies. Azerbaijan has issued international arrest warrants and ordered the evacuation of its diplomats from Iran amid rising tensions.
