Jammu and Kashmir Hosts International Buyer-Seller Meet to Boost Exports
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inaugurated the J K International Buyer-Seller Meet 2026 in Srinagar, attended by over 40 buyers from around 15-16 countries. Abdullah highlighted the government's efforts to boost exports, currently valued at about Rs 1,800 crore, by supporting existing exporters and encouraging new ones. The event aims to expand markets beyond the region and aligns with India's goal to double exports by 2030. The meet also includes training and assistance for exporters.
