The Haryana government has reorganized revenue boundaries in Faridabad and Jhajjar districts through a December 26 notification. The changes aim for administrative rationalization and improved governance by reassigning urban sectors and villages to different tehsils. In Faridabad, sectors 15, 15A, 16A, 21A, and 21B have been moved between tehsils to balance workload and enhance service delivery. In Jhajjar, three villages were transferred to Jhajjar tehsil to improve resident access to services. These adjustments are intended to align administrative units with urban growth and settlement patterns.
