Security forces are training Village Defence Guards (VDGs) in remote Jammu and Kashmir villages in arms handling, bunker construction, and forest patrolling. The three-day camp in Doda district, attended by nearly 150 VDGs from 17 villages, focused on equipping residents to defend against potential terror attacks. This initiative aims to enhance self-defense capabilities in areas historically affected by militancy, including teaching jungle warfare techniques.
