
Punjab's Health Minister, Dr. Balbir Singh, announced significant advancements in the state's healthcare system. He highlighted the success of Aam Aadmi clinics, which have served over 4.59 crore patients with free medicines and diagnostics. The Mukh Mantri Sehat Bima Yojna coverage is set to double to Rs 10 lakh per family annually, aiming for universal cashless healthcare. The state has also expanded its free drug list and achieved its first public sector liver transplant at PILBS, Mohali.
