Vikuho Village Head GB Kiyeto Zhimomi Abducted, Released Amid Extortion Claims

Kiyeto Zhimomi, Head GB of Vikuho village, was abducted on January 19, allegedly by the NSCN GPRN (Khango-Vusshe) faction, and later released. The Western Sümi Youth Front condemned the abduction as a violation of ceasefire agreements and called for an investigation. Zhimomi alleged assault and extortion linked to multiple tax demands by various factions affecting his transport business, and has filed several FIRs regarding extortion incidents. He is currently receiving medical treatment.
