India has expressed grave concern over escalating violence against minorities in Bangladesh, condemning the recent lynchings of Hindu men, Dipu Chandra Das and Amrit Mondal. The Ministry of External Affairs stated that "unremitting hostility" towards minorities, including Hindus, Christians, and Buddhists, is a matter of serious concern, with over 2,900 incidents documented during the interim government's tenure. Ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina also accused the interim administration of "unspeakable atrocities" against non-Muslims. The interim government denies communal motives, attributing incidents to political or criminal factors.
