Diljit Dosanjh Distances Himself from CJP Protest, Emphasizes Artistic Role
Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh distanced himself from the ongoing Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, stating during an Instagram Live that he is an artist, not a politician, and prefers to stay away from political matters. The CJP protest demands the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged examination leaks and recruitment irregularities. Diljit, who previously supported the 2020-21 farmers' protests, expressed unfamiliarity with the current protest and extended neutral wishes to participants, quoting a line from the Guru Granth Sahib.
