Kerala's government has ordered the establishment of help desks at village offices to assist approximately 19.32 lakh individuals, primarily aged 18-40, who were dropped from draft electoral rolls. These individuals must prove their link to the 2002 voter list by providing documentation. The draft rolls, published on December 23, list 2.54 crore voters, after 24.08 lakh forms were deemed uncollectible. Those on the absent, dead, or shifted list will not require hearings.
