Chandigarh Prepares Sarangpur as Temporary Venue for Large Public Events

Chandigarh administration is preparing Sarangpur as a temporary venue for large public events exceeding 5,000 attendees, addressing recent shifts of concerts and exhibitions to neighboring cities due to venue limitations and traffic issues. The site, chosen for its ample open space and peripheral location, is being developed to mirror the Sector 34 exhibition ground. This interim solution precedes a planned 25-acre concert-cum-exhibition center expected to be completed in about six months.
