China Supports Pakistan's Role in US-Iran Mediation Efforts
China has expressed strong support for Pakistan's mediation role in the US-Iran peace talks, following a telephonic discussion between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. The talks highlighted the establishment of a high-level committee and three working groups focused on nuclear issues, sanctions, and monitoring, aiming to finalize a deal within 60 days. Both countries emphasized their commitment to a negotiated settlement to end hostilities and promote lasting peace and shared prosperity.
