He urged the government to engage with students regarding the matter. In contrast, J&K Minister Sakina Itoo stated that some individuals are misleading youth and that the government has completed its role, forwarding reservation changes to the Lieutenant Governor for approval. Itoo suggested protests should be directed at the LG's office.
