The Punjab government is seeking Rs 175 crore from the Centre to procure 17 additional anti-drone systems for the next financial year, according to DGP Gaurav Yadav. Three systems are already installed in border areas, with six more to be operationalized. The police also plan to enhance their fight against organized crime and drug trafficking through scientific methods, including the operationalization of two new software systems and modernization of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force.
