Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Leader of Opposition K. Chandrasekhar Rao shared a rare moment of cordiality, shaking hands and exchanging pleasantries on the first day of the Assembly's winter session. This display of bonhomie occurred despite a recent bitter war of words between the two leaders concerning irrigation projects and river water sharing. While some ministers and MLAs also greeted Rao, he later left the Assembly. Opposition parties, including BRS, have demanded a longer session.
