A fatal bus accident in Bhandup West, Mumbai, claimed four lives and injured nine people. The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply Transport (BEST) bus collided with pedestrians late Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences and wished for the injured's recovery. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced Rs 5 lakh financial aid for the deceased's families. The bus driver has been taken into custody for questioning as a probe into the accident's cause is underway.
