The Election Commission (EC) has strongly condemned police complaints filed against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer Manoj Agarwal. The EC described the allegations as "premeditated, unsubstantiated and intimidatory," aiming to threaten election officials and derail the electoral roll revision process. The complaints reportedly stem from the deaths of two elderly voters after receiving notices related to the revision. The EC vowed to uncover the conspiracy behind these "fabricated complaints."
