Kerala Government to Convert Justice V R Krishna Iyer's Residence into Legal Research Centre

Kerala's state government has decided to take over 'Sadgamaya', the residence of former Supreme Court judge and law minister Justice V R Krishna Iyer, to establish an international legal research and study centre. Law Minister P Rajeev highlighted Krishna Iyer's significant contributions as a jurist and politician, recalling his influence on constitutional and socialist ideas. The centre aims to honor his legacy and serve as a prominent platform for legal studies. Justice Iyer passed away in 2014 at age 99.
