An Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader urged the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) to cooperate with the police investigation into the disappearance of 328 saroops (copies) of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. The call follows the arrest of chartered accountant Satinder Singh Kohli, who is considered close to Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal. The FIR, registered in December, names 16 individuals, including the SGPC's former chief secretary, for alleged criminal breach of trust and other offenses related to the 2020 incident.
