Indian Leaders Pay Tribute to Army's Service and Sacrifice on 78th Army Day

On the 78th Army Day, Indian leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge paid tribute to the Indian Army's selfless service, courage, and dedication. They highlighted the Army's role in safeguarding borders, supporting internal security, and aiding during natural calamities. The occasion commemorates Field Marshal K M Cariappa becoming the first Indian Commander-in-Chief in 1949.
